Dr. Shashideep Singhal is a board-certified gastroenterologist with over 10 years of clinical experience. He joined the practice after extensive clinical experience as academic faculty at Columbia University, New York followed by Director of Endoscopy/Advanced Endoscopy (LBJ Hospital), University of Texas Houston. His particular areas of interest include pancreaticobiliary diseases, advanced endoscopic procedures, and GI cancer evaluations.
Dr. Singhal has presented his research at numerous international GI meetings, particularly in the areas of colorectal cancer research, advanced endoscopy, and patient education. He received the American College of Gastroenterology/Astra Zeneca Award and American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy – Diversity Award. He also serves on the editorial board for gastroenterology and endoscopy journals.
Dr. Singhal completed medical school at the Delhi University in India, followed by residency training at Chicago Medical School. He completed his fellowship training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Brooklyn Hospital Center, New York.
Dr Singhal's aim is to give priority to his patients before anything else. He has expertise in treating a full spectrum of gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic and biliary diseases. He performs general and advanced endoscopic procedures. He is always enthusiastic about solving complex cases and providing a second opinion.
